    10.04 new install on old pc

    New install on old desktop with 30 gb hd, two cd drives, and floppy drive. There are no panels, or menus showing. I can get to the menu by using ALT-F1 and have been able to update. I was hoping to give this unit to someone but wanted it to be easy to use.

    How do I get the panels, menus to show up?

    I have them showing up now. I found the solution after doing a search after I made the post. Will mark it solved.
