HELP: Epson Stylus T13 Printer

Hello po...

Bumili po ako kanina ng Epson T13 na printer...triny ko po iinstall sa Ubuntu ko, Im using Lucid Lynx, kaso pag kinakabit ko na po thru usb, lumalabas po yung message na Missing Drivers Epson T13 T22E, tapos magsesearch po siya tapos mapupunta po ako dun sa database ng mga printer drivers.

Pumupunta po ako sa Epson na section, kaso wala pong nakalist na pang stylus t13, yung pinakamababa po is epson stylus t20 na driver...

ano po kaya pdeng gawin dito mga bro? nakadual boot ako ubuntu at linux, kaso mas ginagamit ko yung linux, ayoko na kasi palipat lipat sana...

since you've mentioned that the lowest was T20.. have you tried test printing using the provided driver?.

From what I heard, the T13 was supposed to replace the T10. Fortunately, ang T10 ay gumagana using the T20 driver. Ngunit under Lucid Lynx yung stock version ng libgutenprint2 at cups-driver-gutenprint packages (v5.2.5) ay hindi compatible sa T10 kaya kailangan mag-downgrade muna to v5.2.4 bago i-setup yung printer.

Try mong i-downgrade muna yung 2 packages then install mo yung T13 using the T20 driver if you can get it to work, and provide feedback to this thread. Gusto ko rin sanang bumili ng T13 dahil pa-phase-out na daw ang T10 (if not already). Otherwise I'd still stick with the T10 model.

Hi guys! sorry sa delayed na feedback. Ang ginawa ko po is ginamit ko yung T20 na driver at gumana naman po siya. T13 is running as smooth as silk.

So i can say na pwede pa rin ang T13 sa Lucid Lynx using T20 driver

NICE!!! Good news ito. Thanks for the feedback. BTW, did you still had to downgrade the packages I mentioned in an earlier post to version 5.2.4 o niretain mo pa rin yung stock versions na 5.2.5. Or did upstream updated the same packages to 5.2.6+ to fix this issue with the Epson T20? Hindi ko na kasi inupdate yung sa akin since 5.2.4 was working fine.

Bro, wala nakong ginawa bukod sa pag gamit ng T20 na driver ^_^

nag install ako T13 ngaun wala naman problema

btw shared siya andon sa server ito gamit ko client pde to maka print.
