    I deleted all panels trying to install advance window manager

    How can I get the panels back without them?

    usually its the opposite people ask on the forums lol . personally i would just reinstall gnome to get it done the fastest without waiting for the forums, though somebody here probably knows how to restore the defaults (try googleing restore gnome defaults)

    Press ALT+F2 And Type gnome-panel.Does this restore the panels?
    Never mind.Kept screwing up XFCE.XD
    http://www.crashie.com will crash an IE install.

    If you don't mind re-configuring your desktop environment from scratch, you could simply create a new user and then transfer your personal data.

    Note: If your using NFS or other protocols, you may want to be careful that your new User ID (under System > Administration > Users and Groups > Advanced Settings > Advanced) matches what was entered previously.
