Screenshot Issue on Ubuntu 24.04 and 23.10

Hi all,

In Ubuntu 23.10 and 24.04, the screenshot window repeatedly opens without being instructed to do so. I expected there to be a bug or something, and I updated and upgraded as well, but the problem persists, which is quite frustrating. If anyone has a solution for this problem. Please leave a comment on this thread; it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

have you checked if this is a hardware issue? What it happens if you press yourself the screenshot button? Is it working? Also, have you checked if any keyboard shortcut is pressed and enables screenshot?
edit: how about restarting pipewire: systemctl --user restart pipewire
