I want to do this because if i dont stop plex, rtorrent, then unmount my drive manually, the next time i start the computer, the drive becomes read-only and i have to repair it to be able to write to...

As the title says, unless I unmount before I restart, my HFS external becomes read only and i have to repair it on my mac, because repairing it on Ubuntu wont work.

I have compiz set to open windows in the center.

I ended up doing gksudo nautilus and deleting it.
Not sure why that worked
